The Light of Life started as a bible study on Friday nights in the basement of

now Pastor Lincoln Ali’s home in April of 1994.  Within a year the bible study of three grew to thirty people. It was evident that God was moving in our

fellowship now called the Light of Life Ministries.  The need for a Sunday

morning service was apparent, so we moved out of the home and into a nearby

high school where Sunday morning service was held.

Restricted by one service per week, the Light of Life moved from the high school to 601 Kennedy Road in the fall of 1999.  The ministry was now able to expand by having more than just Sunday morning service.   In October 2000,

Pastor Lincoln Ali became the Senior Pastor of the Light of Life Church.  By the year 2006, 601 Kennedy was too small for the Light of Life and we moved

to 1100 Bellamy Road North.  Within that year the congregation doubled.  At

that time God opened up the door for us to purchase 1080 Bellamy Road

North. 

We believe that we are strategically located at 1080 Bellamy Road North by

God to reach this Scarborough community for Him.
